1. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

Logical Works Incorporated ("Logical Works", "we", "us", or "our") is a software company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how you can access, correct or delete it.

It covers:

  • This website (logicalworks.ca), including the contact form and the read-only knowledge query service.

  • Logical Works apps and services that offer accounts, including accounts created with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple (the "Services").

Our products are in development and none is generally available yet. Where an app does something this Policy does not describe, the app's own in-app notice will say so, and we will update this Policy before that app collects the additional data.

In this Policy, "personal information" means information about an identifiable individual.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

2.1 When you visit this website

  • Server and network logs. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. ("Cloudflare"). When you load a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the requested address, browser and device type, and the time of the request, in order to deliver the page, block abuse and keep the service available. We do not combine this with any other data to identify you.

  • Rate limiting. The contact form and query service use a Cloudflare Worker that sees your IP address so it can limit how many requests one source can send.

  • No cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no advertising and loads no third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own site.

2.2 When you use the contact form or email us

The form collects your name, email address and message. It is delivered to our mailbox at hello@logicalworks.ca, which is hosted by our email provider. We use it only to read and answer your message. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for ordinary business records, and we delete it on request (Section 8).

2.3 When you use the knowledge query service

The service is read-only. It receives the query text you submit and returns an answer. We use the query only to respond to it.

2.4 When you create or use an account in a Logical Works app

  • Sign in with Google: we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or other Google data through sign-in. If a future app asks for more, it will say so on the consent screen and in this Policy first.

  • Sign in with Apple: we receive the name (if you share it), the email address (or an Apple private relay address if you choose "Hide My Email") and an Apple account identifier. If you use a relay address, we treat it as your email address and send account messages to it; Apple forwards them to you. We do not try to discover your real address.

  • Email or other sign-in (if an app offers it): your email address and the credential needed to authenticate you, stored in protected form.

  • Account data: the settings, preferences and content you choose to put into the app, and basic technical records (such as sign-in time) needed to keep the account secure.

2.5 What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

  • We do not use advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking or profiling.

  • We do not use your account information, or information we receive from Google or Apple, to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not use content you submit to our Services to train models that are made available to others.

4. GOOGLE USER DATA

This section applies if you use Sign in with Google in a Logical Works app.

  • What we access: your name, email address and Google account identifier (and profile picture, only if an app tells you it uses it).

  • How we use it: only to authenticate you, create and operate your account, and contact you about the account.

  • How we store it: in our account database with the protections in Section 9, until you delete your account (Section 8).

  • Who we share it with: only the service providers that host and operate the Service for us (Section 5), and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell it or transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.

  • What we never do with it: use it for advertising (including retargeting or interest-based advertising), determine creditworthiness, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Our staff do not read it except with your consent, to investigate abuse or a security problem, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.

Limited Use disclosure: Logical Works' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove an app's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and ask us to delete the data we hold (Section 8).

5. APPLE USER DATA AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

If you use Sign in with Apple, the data in Section 2.4 is used only as described in this Policy. You can stop using Sign in with Apple with our app at any time in your Apple Account settings (Sign in with Apple) and ask us to delete your data (Section 8). When you delete an account in our app, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple token.

Who receives personal information. We share personal information only with:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, security and rate limiting for this website and the Services);

  • our email providers: MXroute, which hosts our @logicalworks.ca mailboxes, and Amazon Web Services (Amazon Simple Email Service), which delivers email we send;

  • Google LLC and Apple Inc., as the sign-in providers you choose (they learn that you signed in to our Service);

  • other service providers we may add to run an app (for example email delivery or payment processing). They may use the information only to provide services to us, and we require them by contract to protect it to the same standard as this Policy. We will name them here or in the app before they receive your information;

  • authorities, courts or other parties, where the law requires it or to protect rights, safety or security. We review each request for legal validity and disclose only what is required and what we actually hold. We do not publish a transparency report or warrant canary; the current state is on our transparency status page; and

  • a successor, if Logical Works is involved in a merger, financing or sale of its business, subject to the protections of this Policy.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. WHERE INFORMATION IS PROCESSED

We are in Canada, but Cloudflare operates a global network and may process requests in other countries, and our email providers store and send email from servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts and authorities. Before we communicate personal information of Quebec residents outside Quebec, we carry out the privacy impact assessment required by the Quebec private-sector privacy Act.

7. CHILDREN

Our website and Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 16 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and, if we learn we have, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has given us information can contact us at privacy@logicalworks.ca.

8. RETENTION, DELETION AND WITHDRAWING CONSENT

InformationHow long we keep it
Website request logsHeld by Cloudflare under its own retention settings; we do not copy them for other uses
Contact form messages and emailsAs long as needed to handle the inquiry and for ordinary business records, then deleted; or on request
Account dataWhile the account is open; deleted within 30 days after deletion (see below)
Records we must keep by law (for example tax and accounting records)For the period the law requires, then destroyed
BackupsOverwritten in the ordinary backup cycle after the live data is deleted

Deleting your account and data

  • In the app. Every Logical Works app that lets you create an account provides an account deletion option inside the app (in account settings). Deleting the account deletes the personal information in it, and revokes Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple access to the Service.

  • Without the app. If you no longer have the app, email privacy@logicalworks.ca from the email address on the account (subject: "Delete my Logical Works account") and tell us which app. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. This is the account and data deletion request page for Logical Works Incorporated apps.

  • Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw consent to any use at any time by deleting your account or emailing us. Withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide the related Service.

  • What we may keep. We keep only what the law requires or what is needed to resolve a dispute or protect against fraud, and we say so when we confirm deletion.

9. SECURITY

We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity: connections to this website and the Services use HTTPS/TLS; access to systems and data is limited to the people who need it; and credentials are stored in protected form. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorization.

Security incidents. If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify affected individuals as soon as feasible after we determine that it occurred, as required by section 10.1 of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"). For incidents involving Quebec residents we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and affected individuals promptly where the incident presents a risk of serious injury. We keep a record of every breach of security safeguards for at least 24 months.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Under Canadian law (PIPEDA, and for Quebec residents the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector), you can ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold personal information about you, give you access to it, and tell you how it is used and to whom it has been disclosed;

  • correct inaccurate information;

  • delete information, or stop using it, where the law allows; and

  • for Quebec residents, provide your computerized information in a structured, commonly used technological format, and cease dissemination of or de-index information, where the law allows.

Email privacy@logicalworks.ca. We respond within 30 days. Access is free unless the law allows a reasonable fee, and we tell you in advance. If we refuse, we tell you why and how to challenge it.

Quebec. We do not use technology to identify, locate or profile you. Because we offer no optional tracking, our default settings are already the most privacy-protective. We keep a register of confidentiality incidents.

Complaints. Please contact us first. You may also complain to:

Federal law reform. PIPEDA is the federal private-sector privacy law in force at the date of this Policy. A Bill (C-36, introduced June 15, 2026) would replace parts of it but is not law. We will update this Policy if that changes.

11. RESIDENTS OF THE EU, THE UK AND THE UNITED STATES

  • EU and UK. Logical Works is based in Canada and has not appointed a representative in the EU or the UK. Our Services are not yet available to the public and are not currently marketed to people in the EU or UK. Before we make a Service available there we will appoint a representative where the law requires and update this Policy. If you are in the EU or UK you may still use the rights in Section 10 and complain to your local data protection authority.

  • United States. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. U.S. residents may request access, correction or deletion at privacy@logicalworks.ca, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

12. EMAIL FROM US

We do not send marketing email. We send messages you ask for (such as replies to your inquiries) and service messages about your account, security, and changes to our Terms or this Policy. If we ever send promotional messages, we will first obtain your express consent as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation ("CASL"), identify us in each message, and include a working unsubscribe mechanism that we honour within 10 business days.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy. The Effective Date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will post a notice on this website and, for account holders, email the address on the account at least 30 days before the change takes effect (unless the law requires an earlier change). We will not use information already collected for a materially different purpose without asking for your consent.
